Community

We are dedicated to community engagement by organizing events and activities that bring us together. From neighborhood cookouts to family-friendly events, we are committed to creating opportunities for everyone to connect, socialize, and have fun. We believe that a strong sense of community is built on relationships, and we are excited to help facilitate more opportunities for our neighbors to get to know each other.

Greencrest Newsletters

To ensure all neighbors stay connected, the HOA Board will print and hand-deliver a periodic letter to your home. If you would like to contribute content to Greencrest Connection or would like to assist with distribution, please contact the Board.

Greencrest Listserver (Email Goup)

The neighborhood listserver was founded in August 2004 to serve the residents of the Greencrest neighborhood. The listserver is used by the Greencrest Homeowner’s Association as the neighborhood chat-channel to stay in touch with each other, to promote safety within the neighborhood, and to promote the well being of the neighborhood.

Service to the Neighborhood

Neighborhood Watch Program

Greencrest homeowners have long fostered a Neighborhood Watch Program. The Neighborhood Watch program is not just about keeping our community safe. It also helps to bring us all closer together! By looking out for each other and reporting anything suspicious, we create a sense of shared responsibility that helps to deter criminal activity. Plus, by working closely with our local law enforcement, we get to know our police officers and build stronger relationships with them. This all helps to make our community feel like a safer and friendlier place to call home! Greencrest Neighborhood Watch Program Details

Wildfire Mitigation Program

It is critical for us in Greencrest to take proactive action to minimize our risk and to have an emergency plan in place to protect ourselves and our homes from the hazards of wildfires. Full details on the Greencrest FireWise program are here.

Dumpster Days

To support our clean-up efforts and wildfire mitigation around the neighborhood, GHOA has scheduled Dumpster Days for your use. Check on the Events page for this year’s date. Two dumpsters will be staged during this time in the neighborhood.  There are restrictions like NO tree limbs, oils, paints, tires, automotive batteries, or hazardous chemicals. Signs will be posted on/around the dumpsters as a reminder.
