HOA Bylaws

The Greencrest Bylaws are the operating document of the Greencrest Homeowners Association. They are also the ruling document of the Greencrest Homeowners Association Board of Directors. Bylaws are the instructions from the Association’s membership to the Board concerning how to to conduct its business. They set forth the basic structure and abilities of the Board. They are normally kept basic in order to provide the Board with the latitude to pursue the interests of the organization. Bylaws are legal documents, and the inclusion requirements for them vary from state to state.

Unless specified in the Bylaws, Association meeting protocols, policies, and rules are subject to each Board’s review and adjustment as the Board sees necessary to meet current needs. Changes to the Bylaws require a majority vote of property owners present at a General Membership Meeting, either annual or special, as described in Article XIII.
